Guess what? WeatherTech has released their custom-fit cargo liners for the new (2014/2015) Highlander. This news follows their announcement re: the release of their DigitalFit floor liners for the same vehicle.
They’ve actually developed two different cargo liners (click for details). One version is designed to fit behind the 2nd row (with the 3rd row seats folded flat), while the other is designed to fit behind the 3rd row.
Thus, unlike Toyota’s OEM cargo liner, which splits and folds to accommodate the 3rd row seats, the WeatherTech liner is probably best for those who leave their 3rd row seats in either the up or down position.

Like their floor liners, the WeatherTech cargo liners are available in black, tan, or grey. Thus, you can get a fully matched set if you want. They’re not exactly cheap at $89.95 or $119.95 (for the smaller or larger versions, respectively), but… Wow. These are great liners.
We’ve actually had one in each of our past few vehicles and I couldn’t have been happier. They look good, they’re super durable, and they have a raised lip around the edge that effectively contains any spills.
We’ll likely opt for the OEM solution simply because its foldable/split design is more compatible with our intermittent usage of the 3rd row. But if you’re in the market for bulletproof coverage of your cargo area, the WeatherTech cargo liners are definitely worth checking out.
